DISTRIBUTION DEVICES OF EXTERNAL EXECUTION COS
The complete distribution device (Complete outdoor switchgear) consists of typical unified blocks (so-called compartments) with a high degree of readiness, assembled under factory conditions. It consists of separate cabinets with switching devices, measuring instruments, automation and protection devices, control equipment, and signaling devices. The functional compartments are interconnected into a single COS system with common electrical busbar.
COS cabinets have sealing to protect the equipment from contamination and atmospheric precipitation. Application area - transformer substations, devices for own needs of power plants, in electrical installations of industrial enterprises and local closed transformer substations of agricultural consumers, oil and gas companies, water vessels, and railway transport. It is advisable to use them for bus currents exceeding 1000 A or short-circuit currents above 31.5 kA.
The use of our compartments allows for the elimination of interruptions in power supply and the associated losses.
FEATURES OF THE TECHNICAL SOLUTION
- The protection system for lines and transformers is implemented using a vacuum circuit breaker with medium placement, which allows reducing the cell size to 600 mm for currents up to 1250 A. This enables fitting the necessary set of cells into a limited space of an existing facility or modernizing the distribution system without increasing the space.
- The personnel protection system is implemented using electrical and mechanical interlocks during work and rigid partitions between compartments.
- The cassette design of the circuit breaker allows performing routine maintenance work and conducting high-voltage cable testing without disconnecting the voltage from the busbars.
- The two-sided serviceability ensures accessibility of all components for maintenance.
- On the front part of the housing, only control elements, switches, and mode indicators are located. The elements used for service operations are concealed inside the housing.
- Microprocessor devices, programmable during commissioning to perform specific functions depending on the purpose of the cell, are used in RPA(relay protection and automation) networks.
ADVANTAGES OF OUR SOLUTION
- Compartments for vacuum circuit breakers, cable connections, and busbars include the installation of pressure relief valves (with the use of final switches) and phototripping arc protection (instantly disconnecting the current supply when an arc is formed).
- Interlocking devices prevent the insertion or withdrawal of the cassette when the circuit breaker is turned on. Additional interlocking devices are provided in cabinets with grounding blades, preventing the blades from being energized in the working position of the cassette. Metal shutters provide access restriction to the fixed power contacts in the control or service positions of the circuit breaker element.
