Purpose: SPOIT transformers are designed to power consumers of electrical energy in railway power supply systems, and they have a voltage class of 27.5 kV.
Nominal power: These transformers have a nominal power ranging from 1.25 to 10 kV ∙ A.
Cooling: Corrugated walls are used to increase the cooling surface area.
Voltage: SPOIT transformers are manufactured for a nominal primary winding voltage of 27.5 kV. The nominal voltage of the secondary winding is 0.23 kV.
Winding connections: The winding connection scheme and group - 1/1-0.
Installation and usage: Transformers are intended for installation on separately located power poles and stationary installation with block-comprehensive device cabinets. They can also be used to power other single-phase consumers and installed according to the project.
Features of sealed construction: SPOIT transformers are manufactured in a sealed design, and their internal capacity is not connected to the surrounding environment. They are fully filled with transformer oil.
Absence of an expansion tank and air or gas "pillow": These transformers do not have an expansion tank and air or gas "pillow". Temperature changes in the oil volume are compensated by the elastic deformation of the transformer tank corrugations.
Oil and temperature control: For monitoring the oil level in the tank, SPOIT transformers are equipped with a float-type oil gauge located on the cover. An arrow thermometer is installed for measuring the temperature of the upper layers of the oil in the tank.
Efficiency and maintenance: SPOIT transformers practically do not require expenses for pre-commissioning work and maintenance during operation, do not require preventive repairs and inspections throughout the entire term of operation.
