Operational Current Cabinet (OCC)

 Operational Current Cabinets (OCC) are used for uninterrupted power supply to
telemechanics and automation systems, microprocessor and relay protection devices,
operational control and protection circuits at electrical substations and distribution devices by
automatically connecting rechargeable batteries.

Operational Current Cabinets are applied in single and three-phase AC networks with
voltages of 220 and 380 V, with a frequency of 50 Hz and a solidly grounded neutral.

They are recommended for installation in facilities that operate continuously and where
power supply plays a crucial role, such as medical institutions, airports, metallurgical and
machinery plants, mining and petrochemical industries, DP for powering the operational
circuits of relay protection schemes.

FEATURES OF THE TECHNICAL SOLUTION

  • Ensuring convenience and reliability of operation through backup rectifier-charger
    devices;
  • Simplifying system maintenance and repair (Quick block replacement without
    interrupting power supply);
  • Space-saving, as the entire power system is housed in a single enclosure with a width
    of up to 600mm;
  • Reliable power supply to consumers using sealed rechargeable batteries ranging from
    33 Ah to 200 Ah;
  • Maintaining a stable output voltage from the system;
  • Automatic charging of the rechargeable batteries;
  • Maintaining a constant specified output power under load during a specified period
    when disconnected from the mains power;
  • Automatic insulation resistance control on the busbars;
  • Control of the position of feeder circuit breakers;
  • Providing automatic battery charging after reconnecting to the main power source.

ADVANTAGES OF OUR SOLUTION

  • The production of Operational Current Cabinets (OCC) using components from wellknown manufacturers (Schneider, Siemens, ETI, and ABB) allows us to ensure
    reliable operation of our cabinets in any working conditions.
  • We install indicator lamps on the front panel of the cabinet, which display the
    cabinet's status.
  • A voltmeter with an arrow display is installed on the front panel of the cabinet,
    indicating the output voltage.
  • We use a control unit for setting up the rectifier units, which allows for monitoring all
    parameters.
  • We manufacture sectional and non-sectional Operational Current Cabinets with a
    wide range of input and output voltages.
  • During production, we utilize maintenance-free sealed batteries with a service life of
    over 10 years.
  • We use rectifier-charger devices from both foreign and domestic manufacturers.
  • High-performance controllers are employed to manage the operation of the power
    modules in the charging unit.
  • Space is saved by using modular-type charging devices.
  • The charging devices are cooled naturally (by air).
  • The cabinet system operates from both the external power grid and the battery.
  • The status of automatic breakers is monitored, and necessary signals are brought out
    to an external terminal block.
  • A heating system is employed to prevent condensation.
  • All parameters can be viewed on a personal computer or on the controller's display.
