Pole-type substations for 6 or 10 kV AC 50 Hz are assembled on reinforced concrete supports of the Centrifuged conical stands or rack vibrated type. There are two types of structures: single-pole 1s and double-pole 2s. They contain a power transformer, a high-voltage switchgear (HVS) and a low-voltage switchgear (LVS). The MVD includes a traverse with supporting insulators, a frame of high-voltage fuses, and an outdoor double-column line disconnector mounted on a pole. The on-load tap-changer cabinet contains circuit breakers for consumer lines, a metering panel, and outdoor lighting lines with possible automatic switching. The design consists of a frame for a power transformer, a service platform with a removable ladder.
